Trekking in Nepal offers some of the spectacular scenery in the world. The article outlines the basic requirements for safe trekking on the mountain trails.
October until December and March to May is an ideal period for trekking in Nepal. Further, these are an autumn season in Nepal. Furthermore, October marks the end of the monsoon; the monsoon rain carries off the pollution in the air hence, giving way to spectacular views of the Himalayas. Hence, this time of the year is the best period for trekking. March to May: These months are considered as the ideal months for trekking, hence, there are a substantial number of options:

3. Langtang trekking
4. Poonhill Trekking
April to August: During these months Upper Mustang, trekking will be the best.
September to December: Again, these months remain the optimal months for trekking in Nepal.
Considerably major trekking trails used by tourists will not require prior experience. However, one should be physically and mentally fit and prepared for trekking. A consultation with a physician 60 days prior trekking start date will be helpful. In addition, before trekking start exercising, jogging, running, to name a few.
Furthermore, endurance will be required during trekking. It is advisable starting exercising the leg muscles 60 days prior to the trekking date. Start taking stairs instead of the lift or escalators; preparing mentally by not perceiving the trek lightly and building up endurance for tackling steep ascents and descents, as the terrain demands it.
