Day 1 Arrival - Kathmandu

Day 2 Kathmandu

After breakfast, sightseeing tour Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swoyambhunath Stupa

It is a place where the city’s Kings were crowned. Having been built and rebuilt over the generations, it is now the valley’s number one tourist attractions. Most of the temples you see here are a mere three or four centuries old. The entire square was designated as a World Heritage Monument in 1979. The Durbar Square is teeming with shrines and statues. Walk around Kumari Chowk which is a home of “living goddesses”, she comes to the balcony at the scheduled time to welcome the guests.

Continue on to Swayambhunath Stupa

On the top of the hill west of Kathmandu value is one of the popular and instantly recognizable symbols of Nepal. It is also referred to as “Monkey Temple” by many tourists because of the large tribes of monkeys that guard the hill. Legends say after the Bodhisattva Manjushri drained the water from the lake revealing the Kathmandu valley, the lotus one the island of the lake was transformed into the hillock, and the blazing light from the lotus became the statue.

Afternoon, sightseeing tour of Patan Durbar Square

Patan, also known as Lalitpur is the second largest city in the valley. Patan has a long Buddhist influence and the four corners of the city are marked by Stupas said to have been created by great Buddhist emperor around 250 BC. The Durbar Square forms the heart of Patan. The Durbar Square is closely packed with temples, and with far more concentration of architecture than anywhere around the valley. Day 3 Kathmandu - Nagarkot

After breakfast, sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

Bhaktapur is one of the Nepal greatest treasures. Visitors have described Bhaktapur’s Durbar Square as “The most entrancingly picturesque city scene in Nepal”. The Square is scattered with magnificent man-made treasures.

Continue on to Nagarkot hill

35 km from Kathmandu on the eastern rim of the valley is the hill of Nagarkot (1,950m). This place offers a great mountain view. On clear weather, views extend all the way from Mt. Dhaulagiri in the west, past Mt. Everest to Kanchenjunga in the west.

Day 4 Nagarkot - Dhulikhel

Early morning, awesome sunrise view over the Himalayas from the hotel premises

After breakfast, drive to Dhulikhel visiting Panauti Village en route

This ancient Newar settlement 32 km from Kathmandu is a fascinating relic of bygone days. It is today a charming, as an unspoiled village. Later continue on to Dhulikhel.

Once an important trade route between Nepal and Tibet now is a popular tourist destination for its panoramic view, sunset and sunrise views.

Day 5 Dhulikhel - Chandragiri - Daman

After breakfast, drive to Chandragiri cable car station and visit Chandragiri

After the visit continue onto Daman

Daman (2322 meters) provides wide-ranging Himalayan viewpoints surrounding Kathmandu valley. This tiny hilltop town of Daman boasts what is arguably the most spectacular outlook on the Himalaya in the whole of Nepal. Lying below the Rajpath’s highest point, the hamlet overlooks the peaceful Palung valley towards a magnificent spread of the peaks.

Day 6 Daman - Bandipur

After breakfast drive to Bandipur hilltop

The serene and beautiful hilltop of Bandipur is one of the famous tourist destinations in Nepal. This town preaches improbably in the ridge, beneath steep limestone peaks.

The town’s nineteenth-century mansions, with their grand neoclassical facades and shuttered windows, speak of past glories, and tourism is providing a new economic boom to this city.

Walk around the city or commence hiking tour around Bandipur (ON OWN)

Day 7 Bandipur - Pokhara Valley

After breakfast, drive to Pokhara Valley

It is also referred to the city of lakes and mountains. It is also the gateway to one of the best trekking locations in the world.  Pokhara enjoys a mild climate, clean air, reflection of snow-capped mountains in the sheltered lake. Its relaxed atmosphere is pleasantly removed from the hectic hustle and bustle of Kathmandu.

Afternoon, guided tour of Pokhara town including Seti Gorge, Davi’s fall, Gupteshwor cave etc; later, one-hour boating on Phewa lake.

Day 8 Pokhara Valley

Early morning, excursion to Sarangkot hill for a closer view of mountains. At an elevation of 1592m, Sarangkot is probably the most popular short excursion from Pokhara. It is a perfect viewpoint to admire the mountain views and a splendid panorama. The panoramic view includes a glimpse of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna South and Mt. Hiunchuli with the bulk of Mt. Annapurna behind, unmistakable mt. Fishtail, Mt. Annapurna III, IV and II, and Lamjung Himal.

Day 9 Pokhara Valley - Kathmandu

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu retracing the same highway

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel

Evening, transfer to an authentic Nepali restaurant for a dinner with cultural shows by different ethnic groups of Nepal.
