Nepal and Tibet tour combination will be once in a lifetime experience. This tour starts from the racial melting pot and the capital of Nepal Kathmandu visiting beautiful Durbar Squares “Where the kings used to live in medieval times”, the biggest Buddhist monasteries, and an immense cultural diversity.
The tour proceeds to Tibet “The Roof of the World”. Particularly, Tibet is famous for the magical and fabulous monasteries and century-old caravan trails. Further exploring the famous Potala Palace, the pilgrims in Jokhang temple, Barkhor market, and sera monastery among others. Furthermore, the trip proceeds Gyantse to visit the famous Tashilumpho monastery, and Khumbum & Pelkhor stupa. En route to Lhasa is a freshwater lake, Yamdrok Tso, which is one of the three largest sacred lakes in Tibet. Finally, the last night is for a farewell dinner with cultural shows from different ethnic groups of Nepal.

Arrive in Kathmandu. Meeting and assistance at the airport and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square. This Durbar Square is one of the most famous attractions in Kathmandu. This is the place where the kings were crowned in the past. Visit living goddess Kumari. She comes out at a scheduled time to greet the visitors. Continue on to Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as “ Monkey temple by many tourists”.
Afternoon, sightseeing tour of Patan Durbar Square. The Durbar Square is closely packed with temples, and with, a far more concentration of architecture than anywhere around the valley.

After breakfast, sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath temple. Pashupatinath is one of the sacred Shiva temples on the Indian sub-continent. It draws devotees from all over India, including many colorful Sadhus (wandering Holy men). It is the largest temple complex in Nepal.
Continue on to Boudhanath Stupa. This is the largest stupa in Nepal and one of the largest in the world. It is the sacred place for Buddhist pilgrims. Once you enter the stupa complex it resembles Bharkor street of Tibet with a considerable population of Tibetans, number of thriving monasteries and many small shops selling Tibetan artifacts.
Afternoon, sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. The stone embedded street links a string of temples, monastery, courtyards and monumental squares. You will quickly notice how vibrant the town’s cultural life is with strong communities of potters, woodcarvers, and weavers.

The day is free in Kathmandu. This evening, you will receive your Tibet visa.

After breakfast, transfer to the international airport in Kathmandu and fly to Gonggar airport. Upon arrival meet our representative and drive to Lhasa (65 kms/1 hrs drive). The rest of the day is free for acclimatization.

After breakfast, sightseeing tour of Jokhang Temple. The two-Storeyed Jokhang is best visited in the morning, though the crowds of yak-butter-spooning pilgrims can be thick. Continue onto Sera Monastery. Approximately 5km north of central Lhasa, Sera Monastery was one of Lhasa’s two great Gelugpa monasteries, second only to Drepung.
Evening visit, Barkhor Market. For your first visit to the Barkhor, enter from Barkhor Sq, a large plaza that was cleared in 1985. Evening rest in the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Lhasa.
After breakfast, visit the famous Potala Palace. An architectural wonder even by modern standards, the palace rises, the 13 storey from 130m-high Marpo RI (Red Hill) and contains more than 1000 rooms. Drive to Shigatse, Tibet’s second largest town. Evening, relax at the hotel.

After breakfast, visit the famous Tashilumpho monastery in Shigatse. This is one of the few monasteries in Tibet to weather the stormy seas of the Cultural Revolution, Tashilhunpo remains relatively unscathed. Later, drive to Gyantse. Visit the famous Khumbum & Pelkhor stupa in Gyantse. Overnight at the hotel in Gyantse.
After breakfast, drive back to Lhasa via Yamdrol Tso Lake. Dazzling Yamdrok-Tso is one of Tibet’s four holy lakes (the others are Lhamo La-Tso, Nam-Tso, and Manasarovar) and home to wrathful deities. Its turquoise waters are shaped like a coiling scorpion, doubling back on themselves, on the western side, effectively creating a large island within its reaches. Upon arrival in Lhasa, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Lhasa.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport and fly back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu meeting and assistance in the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Evening, farewell dinner at an authentic Nepali restaurant with cultural shows. After dinner, transfer back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu
