Itinerary


Day 1 Arrival-Kathmandu

Arrive in Kathmandu. Meeting and assistance in the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Afternoon sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square and walk around Kumari Chowk which is a home of “living goddesses”, she comes to the balcony at the scheduled time to welcome the guests. Continue on to the Swayambhunath Stupa often referred to as “The Monkey Temple” by the travelers.

Day 2 Kathmandu - Paro - Thimphu (2,350M)

Morning, fly to Paro. Upon arrival in Paro, you will be met at Paro by our representative. After lunch, drive to Thimphu and visit National Memorial Chorten. Evening rest at the hotel/or stroll around the Lhasa city. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Thimphu.

Day 3 Thimphu

After breakfast, visit Buddha Point in Thimphu. The huge 51m-tall steel statue of Buddha Dordenma commands the entry to the Thimphu valley. Visit Takin Zoo in Thimphu, located in the Motithang district of Thimphu, is a wildlife reserve area for the Takin, the national animal of Bhutan. Afternoon, Later, visit Changzangkha Lakhang, a popular temple, perched like a fortress on a ridge above central Thimphu, hums with pilgrim activity. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Thimphu.

Day 4 Thimphu - Punakha (1300M)

Drive to Punakha via Dochula – Pass.The pass is a popular location for tourists as it offers a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of Himalayan mountain range. Upon arrival in Punakha visit arguably the most beautiful dzong in the country Punakha Dzong. The evening is free. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Punakha.

Day 5 Punakha - Paro (2,195M)

After breakfast, visit Chimi Lhakhang, built in 1499 by the cousin of Lama Drukpa Kunley in his honor after the lama subdued the demoness of the nearby Dochu La with his ‘magic thunderbolt of wisdom’. Visit Wangdue Dzong Ruins from outside. Evening, visit Kyichu, Lakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most beautiful temples. Later, visit Dryugyul ruins Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Paro.

Day 6 Paro

After breakfast, visit Taktsang Monastery famous as Paro Taktsang is a Buddhist temple complex which clings to a cliff, 3120 meters above the sea level on the side of the upper Paro valley, Bhutan. Evening, walk around the town for shopping. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Paro.

Day 7 Paro - Kathmandu

After breakfast, transfer to the airport in Paro and fly back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu meeting and assistance at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon, sightseeing tour of Hindu’s holiest temple of Pashupatinath, the sacred Shiva temples on the Indian sub-continent. Later, continue on to Boudhanath Stupa. This is the largest stupa in Nepal and one of the largest in the world. It is the sacred place for Buddhist pilgrims.

Day 8 Kathmandu - Pokhara

After breakfast, transfer to the airport and fly to Pokhara town (25 min). After Kathmandu, Pokhara is the most popular destination in Nepal. It is also referred to the city of lakes and mountains. Upon arrival in Pokhara transfer to the hotel. Afternoon, sightseeing tour of Pokhara town including Seti Gorge, Gupteshwor Cave, and Davi’s fall with one-hour boating on Fewa lake. Rest of the day is free to stroll around the lakeside of Pokhara

Day 9 Pokhara - Kathmandu

Early morning, sunrise excursion to Sarangkot hill for closer view of mountains (weather permitting). After breakfast, transfer to the airport in Pokhara and fly back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu meeting and assistance in the airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for shopping/leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu

Day 10 Kathmandu

After breakfast, sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. The stone embedded street links a string of temples, monastery, courtyards and monumental squares. After the tour transfer back to the hotel for relaxation. Evening, transfer to an authentic Nepali restaurant for farewell dinner with cultural shows. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu

Day 11 Kathmandu - Departure

Free till departure. Transfer to the airport to connect your onward flight
